Jo Mocny Bio

JOANNE "JO" MOCNY

Founder and Managing Partner

Joanne "Jo" Mocny has spent her career helping leadership teams answer one question: if you were building the business today, what would you eliminate, redesign, or accelerate to create significantly greater enterprise value?

In leadership roles at Fox Factory, Micromeritics, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi International, and as an advisor to private equity firms and growth companies. She has led organizations through acquisitions, restructurings, technology transformations, and new business launches to scale while advancing operational performance.

Her work has ranged from leading a greenfield operation that grew from zero to 1,800 employees in two and a half years while tripling manufacturing capacity and meeting projected revenue growth to $1.6 billion, to directing global restructuring initiatives across nine countries and delivering more than $1.7 million in cost improvements while strengthening operational capacity and performance.

She has led over a dozen acquisitions, integrations, restructurings, technology transformations, and startups across 41 locations in 11 countries. Her philosophy is straightforward: every transformation should improve how the business operates and show up in revenue growth and EBITDA improvement.

As a turn-around/growth focused operations executive, Jo built her career with deep expertise in innovation, operations, organizational design, business transformation, and scalability because sustainable value is created by improving how work flows across the enterprise. She has seen organizations struggle when technology, people, and operating models evolve independently, a challenge becoming even more pronounced as companies adopt AI.

She co-founded Inflection Point Advisors to help leadership teams align operating models to business strategy, redesign work, and ensure technology investments translate into revenue growth.

STEPHEN WAECHTER

Founder and Managing Partner

Stephen Waechter has spent his career helping leadership teams answer one question: which investments will actually improve business performance—and how do you make sure they do?

At USAA, The Home Depot, Turner Broadcasting, and later as an advisor to private equity firms and growing companies, he has helped organizations redesign operating models, improve decision-making, and connect technology investments to measurable financial results.

His work has ranged from leading an operating model redesign that delivered $2.5 million in savings a year ahead of plan and identifying nearly $40 million in additional efficiency opportunities, to directing an $80 million transformation that modernized technology, improved execution, and generated a projected 23 percent return.

Whether the organization employs hundreds or hundreds of thousands, his approach remains the same: understand how work creates value, fix what gets in the way, and measure the outcome.

Stephen built his career at the intersection of finance, analytics, operations, and organizational design because lasting transformation requires all four. He has seen too many companies invest in technology before deciding what should actually change—and AI is repeating that pattern on an even larger scale.

He co-founded Inflection Point Advisors to help private equity firms, founder-led businesses, and enterprise leaders identify where AI will create real economic value, redesign the work around those opportunities, and execute until the return is visible in the numbers.
